Hi, I am new to this forum, so I thought I would start here.
I am a 1949 model, but introduced so late in the year, I might have been considered a 1950.

It is as good a place as any - welcome to the forum. (I am 1954 vintage - was just awake enough to see R Bannister run his 4 minute-mile)
Where are you from and how did you get into skirts?

My physical age is 59 and my mental age is somewhere between 25-35. That's where it's been since I was 25-35!

I'm the one that answered "NOYBW" but, suffice it to say I was born BEFORE the war known as "Dubya Eye Eye" was entered by the United States. Japan declared war on the US of A first, then The Axis did when Hitler declared war on the US of A.

I couldn't remember if I was 61 or 62. I had to ask the wife. I hope that's not a sign of things to come. btw, I'm 61.

Being a '42 model still in running order I'm aware during WW2 there were shortages, so holes are now appearing in the bodywork!
Part time skirted only for leisure pursuits, the major problem being lack of spousal approval.

49 and with full confidence of wearing clothing deemed "womenswear" by society in public, friends, family, home, doctors, dentists, opticians, solicitors, theaters, weddings, funerals etc etc.
