Re: What are we wearing as we post, part deux
I'm wearin an interesting combo this evening...I've been in bed most of the day with a terrible toothache, abcess gets worked on tomorrow morning at 9. Probably a root canal and crown. All day I was wearing a horizontally striped black and white nightshirt in bed, about 6pm the front door rang and I threw on a grape colored scrubs skirt over it to answer the door as the nightshirt is really too short for my public showings. I was wearing chocolate tights all day too. So I was a really odd looking creature to what was at the door. 3 Holy rollers..well, not really, might as well be tho. "Here's a free Watchtower" May we put you down for a hefty donation?" I answered in my usual way, "no thanks, go beg somewhere else before I call the police".."But, but, but, but....we don't beg..." O really, are you selling something? No? Then you're begging, anyway, can't you read the sign at the front of my property that says "NO SOLICITING"?

Scottish National tartan kilt. Black kilt socks and flashes. Blue collared shirt.

Lite blue calf lenght rear slit with blue polo shirt and mocs, bare legs and feet.
Got a massage and some groceries.
Yesterday I was traveling in the pickup with my partner, moving her stuff to my place in Denver. I wore a black skirt with a rear slit, black tights, tall black shearling boots, and a black turtle neck sweater. The skirt came to the top of the boots. Lots of looks and double takes but no comments. Not even when I walked up to the urinal, hiked up the skirt and took a break.
The front zipper, if long enough, I will use when nature calls. But some are too short to be serviceable and I have some skirts with either side or back zippers and in such case I will hoist the skirt, generally in a stall if one is available.

I'm in a white short sleeved shirt worn loose over a faded denim calf length skirt and some suntan coloured wolford 20 denier tights. No shoes (indoor, y'see!)
Luckily after all this eating, the skirt is elasticated! Just as well.....

I'm in a rather interesting getup myself. I usually sleep in a Big and King sized catalog nightshirt I bought 3 of about 3 years ago. (they no longer sell them). Last night, about 1am in the morning a cold front rolled thru and I had my a/c on and my nightshirt, wooooo...I popped out of bed, grabbed a thick fleece ankle length skirt I have, pulled it up under my nightshirt, scooped up a fleece hoodie I have, pulled it down over my nightshirt and went comfortably back to sleep without turning on a heater. Just turned the a/c off...Well I'm still wearing all of that, saving electricity on heater. Interesting sight, horizontal black and white stripes with bits of fleece sticking out here and there and a fleece hoodie on my neck and mixed up with my hair in the back. Never know what one see's around here..

That sounds like shades of what both Sapphire and I were wearing when the power quit for two days straight a while ago and the house got to dangerous temperatures...Since1982 wrote:Interesting sight, horizontal black and white stripes with bits of fleece sticking out here and there and a fleece hoodie on my neck and mixed up with my hair in the back.
I was wearing one of my light summer-weight nightshirts, a full-length flannel nightgown over that, and a shorter flannel nightshirt over that. Underneath all of this went heavy tights. Needless to say, we were warm -- toasty warm in fact. The problem was getting a decent pot of coffee made.... and the eighteen inches of water in the basement. At least the coffee helped give me enough courage to go wading the in basement to find extension cords and to re-home the electrical supply for the pumps.

OK OK
I also had on a full length flannel nightgown in a pretty feminine pink, but it was over a set of hot pink fleece Tinkerbell PJs., that were over whatever tshirt was handy. Had on tights of some sort , socks and my hot pink fuzzy "moon boot" slippers

It's warmed up quite a bit now, it's about 72F ... was 60F at 1am, so I'm now in a grape colored T-shirt, grape colored scrubs skirt, nylon skirt liner, chocolate brown tights, (since I tried tights to replace the $300.00 medical leg sleeves for my peripheral artery disease, I've used nothing but $17.00 tights). 'Sposed to get even colder tonight, 'sposed to go allllll the way down to 55F...woooooo...

Black nylon athletic type miniskirt by Adidas over lightweight Champion compression shorts, white T shirt. It has been quite warm here for more than a week although a strong cold front moved in tonight with some serious wind. I'll be back to longer skirts tomorrow, most likely. Shaved my legs this morning and enjoying having them exposed.

I am wearing a knee length denim skirt, dark blue t-shirt and black opaque tights. It is warmer here than it has been for the last few days as there is no frost this morning and I did not have to scrape the ice off my car windows.

Now we have to try and delete that image from our brains! DELETE DELETE DELETE. Brin wash, brain wash, brain wash.
I like the part about the long skirt later though - I seem to be wearing my long skirt more than my kilts as of late because of this blasted cold weather. The long skirt is warmer than my kilts and I can keep the house cooler without freezing my assets (so to speak). Fuel costs are much too high to keep the house above 70. I don't mind though, it's a good excuse to wear the skirt.
