This is where we differ -- and that is entirely fine, healthy, and to be expected. I tend not to get angry when faced with "problems" as I find it distracts me as I attempt to work my way around the issue and, hopefully, bring it to a conclusion in some manner.
This sounds more rational to me. I guess when you get older, you value your time more. I'm still extremely disillusioned by the American electorate, for example, as well the politicians, of course, but that's all I say for now on
that matter. Don't want to get this thread derailed more than it already has.
Now, I did not bother watching the video knowing what was awaiting me based on others' observations -- so I didn't even have to waste my time before setting in on the analysis which, using fairly simple pattern-matching tactics yielded the mental state of the droid that posted the video and the flag that the noise can be dismissed save for the fact that it'll likely draw an audience -- and that's where things get dangerous. This sort of bile gets traction with the ignorant and entirely uninformed. Of note is that there is precisely nothing whatsoever wrong with ignorance -- we all start out that way and have to learn. Where we get into trouble is with the wilfully ignorant -- the state I call actively "stupid". These types simply refuse to learn or have an inbred opposition to anything that's attempting to be revised or otherwise corrected. In extreme cases, one can wind up with cases of arrested development where the "induhvidual" will never progress beyond childhood or even in extreme cases a toddler stage.
The only reason I even clicked on those two videos is to see the ratings they had. It's not a surprised, since the few posts here alluded to what I was getting into, but it's a shame that this dross doesn't even get remotely challenged on the same platform. Too much problematic content on the Internet and much of it isn't even addressed. Science is constantly under attack because of this influence, and history is doomed to repeat itself because of this refusal to learn from,
and reflect on it.
If there's really anything to be gleaned from this writing, it's that expressed anger and/or rage over others' idiocy is pointless and ultimately counterproductive, and in extreme cases can result in entirely unpleasant things (like violence). In a societal sense, all one can do is remember things when one votes (if that's allowed where you live) his mind.
I could probably add that people willing to hear you out are probably worth your time, and not the ones with their eyes shut and ears clogged. I live in a blue state, but I'm still preparing to leave this country. With the exception of
maybe my family ("maybe" being the keyword here), I don't plan on looking back, if
ever. Now, that could be subject to change (the "not looking back" part), but
my attitude towards the United States won't unless the populace smartens up, actually qualified candidates get elected again, and the nations starts finally acting like the "Land of the Free" it's "supposed" to be.

Ever thought about insulting some of these morons wanting to be treated as a man, being force to registered for the draft? They say they want equal rights, but not being force into military service.
There is a lawsuit being brought on by a lawyer for women for Equal Rights — has a male client in this case. There is a male willing to help women force them into military service if drafts ever start again. You probability see it being funny in sense there is lack some of these women claiming wanting to be treated as a man. A man refuse to register for the draft and says he is being discriminated against.

A lot of these women prefer be discriminated against when it comes to being forced into military service. This is what can be added to things they don't want to be equal along with not wanting with men in dresses and skirts.
Before I begin, let's just take a moment to realize that we're diverting from skirts completely (in a thread that has
nothing to do with what this sub-forum is about, mind you) to military drafting. Since I might not find another opportunity to discuss this, I may as well do so, now.
Firstly, these women want to be treated "equally" (at least, that's what they supposedly want), not like men. There's a distinct difference.
Secondly, I read the page and facial that went into more detail about the case. Vickram Valame makes a compelling agrument about being discriminated against. Many men don't want any part of the military. They don't want to have to go to war, kill people, and invade other countries. I don't want to do any of these things. I especially don't want to salute the current Commander-in-Chief — an individual who I harbor a strong hatred for, and I especially despise this country and much of the people living in it. Resisting a draft is considered a felonious charge, so he has no choice BUT to sign up for consignment.
Thirdly, I don't have an issue with the notion that women,
alone, should decide that they're fully equal citizens. I don't have an issue with women being given the option to register for Selective Service without automatically being denied because of their sex. The issue here, though, is that they aren't extending this privilege to men — just women. Both women and men are being discriminated against, so forcing one sex to consign while only given the other choice isn't any more equal than just excluding them from the program. It should go both ways, and the fact that no one in the ERA movement seems to acknowledge this disparity in actual equality is just sad really. Most people
really don't care, or have no idea what
real equality actually looks like.
Lastly,
NO citizen should be forcibly drafted. It's unconstitutional and not every man is primed for it. Their issue should just be the program itself, not the fact that it prevents women from being drafted.
