Well, the sweater/cape-like thing and the minidress are certainly different lengths. And the shoes are a little daft (or maybe a lot). The hat and the face remind me of Boy George, who'd not exactly my fashion idol.

But look how much discussion Vibskov's skirt has generated. So although it may be art that you don' like, it's still art.

That's not an entirely bad look, but then again I tend to wear a lot of scarves that many other men wouldn't. I would be afraid to attempt the shoes though, I have a hard enough time staying upright without wearing platforms.

You can find more such examples at this guy's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/houseofalexzander

Now, I'm not saying we should all look like this, but in all fairness, we should give people like him their fashion freedom as well.

You don't have to like a piece of art in order for it to make you feel and think.
Actually, I don't mind the look of this, and many of his other outfits, if I was a lot younger I would wear it. I wouldn't wear the shoes; certainly couldn't climb a wire fence although you could kick a hole in it.

The guy in the House of Alexander pic is a guy who goes by the username Elliott A. over at Lookbook. Typically does a LOT of androgynous looks. Some where you have to look closely to notice the 5 o' clock shadow...

With apologies to those of a delicate disposition I offer this thought from Fyfe Robertson who once described an exhibit at a gallery as "Fart; that's phoney art". He also remarked that while an item might generate discussion, that did not automatically make it art; "after all, a turd on a restaurant table would generate a discussion, but it is unlikely that even the most dedicated art aficionado would wish to eat there."

Just a thought...

Have fun (and no, I still don't like the look Vibskov created, but each to his own),
