Of course, I have to wonder if these children were at least partly motivated by comfort-and found trousers lacking in such.

1. Society has created the notion of two and only two distinct genders, male and female. There is no room in between; no spectrum exists.
2. Society has created the notion that males are more valuable than females; a girl/woman aspiring to be/appear male is honorable and acceptable whereas a boy/man aspiring to be/appear female is dishonorable and unacceptable.
3. The religious right is generally intolerant.
That comes from a chick called society. :lol: Little princess society :twisted: , did ya ever heard that humans derives from caveman where female's intrinsic value was reproduction and male's intrinsic value was being the provider. These "rule" has prevailed until the modern era, even if not necessary. Feminism twisted these facts and made it look like a woman was looked upon as inferior whilst the opposite is true. The rest boils down to perceptions read into a piece of clothing.
