Well done! Am. size 13/UK size 11 is my size too. Bet it paid off to have practiced beforehand, before attempting whole mile walk. With those fabulous shoes tights and some sort of skirt were a must. It presented a golden opportunity to flash those elegant pins of yours!

But how did the event go?
Was much money raised?
Was it a sucessful day for the event?
These are questions no one seems to be asking.
Isn't that more important then what one person wore that day?

The walk was held on the University of Cincinnati campus. My guess is there were around 100-150 walkers. Except for Heelster and myself they were all college students. There was media coverage from 1 local radio station. I have no idea how much money was raised.
I had hoped for more publicity and public participation. I think this only the second time they held this event. Maybe the next one will be bigger and better.
