Re: "Man" Bags?

PLEASE PLEASE PLESE DO NOT CALL IT A “MANBAG”. Please see previous response in this thread. It is misogynistic and does not help our cause. It implies that we must masculinize every item of female clothing or accessories that we wear. Women do not do this when they wear men’s accessories. For example, they don’t call a backpack that is typically used by men a “womanpack”. See how absurd this concept is?Ganesaunine wrote: ↑Sun Feb 15, 2026 4:35 pm Here's my "Man Bag"... a circular cross body purse, all leather, from Portland Leather (https://www.portlandleathergoods.com). I bought this about 6 years ago and really like it. It's just big enough to hold a wallet, phone, and keys, plus it goes with just about everything and is fairly 'gender neutral'. I've also used a sling sack, which if unfamiliar to other members, is kinda like a smaller school backpack, but with only a single strap that's usually a bit longer than a typical backpack strap.
It is a PURSE. Be proud that you are using a purse.
Thanks,
