The second name change is in. It's now the "Advocacy & Mens Skirts in the News".
Skirts in the world of women are unusual now, but unremarkable. However, a skirt on a male in what passes for "Western Civilisation" IS remarkable -- and wildly unusual.

It's sad but true that societal views usually take a lot of changing or evolving.About the only time it doesn't is when a dictator orders change and people comply out of fear. Even so some brave souls will fight back .
The wearing of non conforming clothing for men is probably not a cause that quite fits that level of protest because in most democratic countries it's not illegal unless it's used to defraud or cause deception like impersonating a police officer or military is etc. to gain advantage ..
For me the crux of the argument is given skirts , dresses and even kilts can be extremely practical forms of clothing for blokes of all ages even to the point of helping with medical reasons , why has Western society made it a sexual defining issue over time. I mentioned this in another thread but the reason for clothing be it with legs or without was for practicality. Not to define necessarily what sex you were . In different parts of the world skirted/dress styles are accepted without question to this day.
I'd like to think that at some stage before my time is up that I can go to my wardrobe of a morning and grab one of my kilts and not even think about
anybody else's opinion that day. Reality is that at age 64 this is highly unlikely .
