In Australia I always referred to them as bumbags.

Re: Pockets vs. bags
When I’m wearing kind of jacket, like a wind breaker, I have pockets enough and don’t need a separate bag.
However, when no need for a jacket, I’ll always wear a shoulder bag.
Most skirts and all traditional kilts come without pockets and if a skirt has pockets, they in most cases are not roomy enough for anything.
With kilts I would earlier wear a sporran, but sporrans being not especially comfortable and barely able to accommodate a modern smartphone, I have ditched them.
Instead, I always wear a shoulder bag with kilts, as well as with shorts and skirts, whatever the size of their pockets.
My last acquisition is a shoulder bag from H&M. It is available in black and blue and extremely comfortable. Being soft, it is roomy, and if hardly anything in it, flat.
It accommodates: 1. A smart phone, 2. A wallet, 3. Keys, 4. A system camera, 5. A table tripod, 6. An extra battery, 7. A remote control for the camera.

I have worn it day in, day out since I bought it 3-4 months ago.

Might as well go all in on the look

Nice choice with the bag. I have a few for different purposes but haven't really found the winner that's both comfortable AND capable. I'm super picky though.GerdG wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:13 pm My last acquisition is a shoulder bag from H&M. It is available in black and blue and extremely comfortable. I finally got these stickers up for sale: https://everybodyskirts.com/products/sticker-sheet
The one on my smartphone with the hairy legs was the original design I wanted to create based on an old doodle. And then I saw that with a sticker sheet you get more value, so I started making other designs, some of which were from social posts.
