I've worn what is called 'Tankini' bottoms or Swim Skirts

These are available with either a 'panty brief' or 'boy shorts' underneath.
I prefer the 'panty brief' as less material to deal with.

There are several other brands.
After my weight loss, I'll need to get some in smaller sizes

Being swim skirts, you can wear them anywhere and not be worried
if they get wet. Nothing shows through the material

I've not seen Swim Skirts with Boy Shorts, those are usually Skorts and can be made out of just about any fabric.
