Got these at Payless, and are the most comfortable heels I've ever worn.

They look great. I'd wear those.

Picked these up at Walmart today. Nothing fancy or off the wall. One par was $10 and the other was $5 so I figured... why not. I was also surprised they fit. The black pair is size 11W, the blue is size 11. The blue is more flexible which makes for a fit that's not too tight. Both are pretty comfortable, and I was happy to find them so cheap!

Hmm, someone was wearing sandals on their vacation. My feet have tan lines like that sometimes.
I had a pair like the black ones, but they went to Goodwill because they had absolutely no arch and my feet didn't like them. I've recently been buying my shoes from Hotter in England. Their woman's US 11 (UK 9, EU 43) fit my US male 8.5/9 well and they have enough structure in the footbed to keep my feet happy.

Actually, the blue shoes may not work. The 11 might be just a little too small. I couldn't tell when I tried them on at walmart, but the top of the shoe digs into the knuckle of my foot and makes it pretty uncomfortable. However the black shoes are 11W and they seem like a perfect fit.

Thankfully I've only got $5 in the blue pair. No major loss.

They do, and Walmart has a pretty good reputation for taking ANYTHING back, even without a receipt, however with the cost of the shoes being only $5, considering I'll burn at least $2.50 worth of gas to get to the store and back, which is about a 35 minute drive one way, so there's a little over an hour, plus stand in line at customer service for God knows how long, get my money back, fight the parking lot again.... so on and so forth...

Five bucks just isn't worth it... I've left bigger tips. If it were something like twenty dollars or higher then I'd probably take them back but no more than I paid, I'll gladly take them to the local Christian thrift store here in Damascus where all the proceeds go to needy families in the area.

We would just put them in a bag in the car and take them back next time we were at the store. But otherwise fairy snuff.

Yesterday was my first ever experience wearing peep-toe shoes on an outing to the Philadelphia Art Museum. I found them stylish and comfortable.

try sears on line I just picked up 2 pairs of canyon river ankle boots with a 21/2 inch heel and another pair of mid calf boots 3 inch heel they were on sale I got the entire package for under $ 50 by the way I normally wear a men"s US 9 regular The canyon river were a ladies 10 reg and the mid calf were a 10 wide and they fit comfortably

Joking aside though, given that women have had to fight for the right to wear clothing of the 'elite' white heterosexual male, (which by deduction renders the skirt as a lesser article) then could it not also be seen as patronising or demeaning in persuing western fashion from 'across-the-aisle'? How many men are clamouring to donne a sari or burka?

Personally I see it more as highlighting the unspoken inequalities that men are subjected too, although that is far from my sole reason for wearing skirts. My own belief is that clothing should be ungendered, thereby circumventing any accusation of cross-dressing as I refer to my garments as 'clothing predominanty worn by women'. Or, as Eddie Izzard put it, “They’re not women’s clothes. They’re my clothes.”

After that slight digression, back to the thread.

Sadly that is the case today, athough I still have men's designer boots from the 80s in bright red pattent leather and crape that would still challenge some of todays shoes. Mind you, I think it would be fun to wear pink tights for a change, just for the reactions. But I may never pluck up the courage to do it. I'm quite sure a certain lady who lives in my house would not approve. She's mostly pretty accepting these days, and there's little to be gained in annoying her.

Some how that last picture just doesn't look right to me.

I am not concerned about the outfit, but the size of the
picture.

In art class, we were told that the head of the body is about
1/7th of the total height. Your picture is about 1/6th of the
total height. So to me it just doesn't look right.

I don't know if you were leaning forward distorting the picture,
(my depth perception is not the best) or just what. However,
to me the picture just doesn't look right.
