Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

When asked 'Why the Kilt?'
I respond-The why is F.T.H.O.I. (For The H--- Of It)
Splendid, Unc Al!! I treasure the couple of occasions when I got to see Victor Borge in concert. The world lost a true entertainer and great gentleman when he passed away.

You got to *see* Victor Borge?? Sasquatch, you lucky person, you! I grew up listening to his records and seeing him on television specials... and besides being a tremendous entertainer, he was a fantastically talented pianist. I'd have loved to have seen him perform live.
I also was one of the fortunate few still alive that saw the master play. I saw him alive at Miami Auditorium in 1966 the year before I moved to the Keys. What an impresario that man was. And Hilarious!
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
