Cargo Skirts
Cargo Skirts
Hi,
Cargo skirts with many pockets available at Matalan-£10. Colours are whitish, and khaki. I saw a size 16, and an 18 there.

Matalan
I will take a look when I next go in there.

Click here to see the skirt. I don't think they do any web sales, the shopping list facility is exactly what the name implies; a way to remember what you wanted to look at when you visit the store...Uncle Al wrote:Do they have a website?
Do they have any that go up to size US22-24?
I don't know how to translate Matalan's sizing to US sizes. I have a size 16 mini skirt from there which fits perfectly but I've never found any other size 16 garment that is even close to fitting me.
Have fun,
Ian.

Waist size
Ian,
Do you know the waist size of the skirt? Or, your waist size? (in inches).

Nice looking skirt.
However, for me, it appears a bit tight/restrictive.
I did see that they do not have on-line shopping.
Guess I won't be getting one.

Heh...
There they go again. Women modeling menswear. That skirt definitely looks more like menswear than womenswear, only the sequined belt looks femme.

I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

The Matalan skirt I own has a waist measurement of 39" (measured by laying the skirt flat, measuring from side to side and doubling).
I know that too but I'm too embarrassed to tell you. Oh blast! I think I let the cat out of the bag aboveJRMILLER wrote:Or, your waist size? (in inches).

I should caution that other skirts I've tried in Matalan's range that were nominally the same size were a totally different fit, some larger, some smaller. Their "Papaya" brand really need to be tried on, fortunately they have never batted an eyelid at me taking an armful of skirts into the gents fitting rooms so that's not been a problem.
Have fun,
Ian.

I take it that it is the size 18 that is 39". That's what my waist size is now.

According to the label it's a size 16. As I said you really need to try their clothes on to check fit.knickerless wrote:I take it that it is the size 18 that is 39". That's what my waist size is now.

Ian,
WRT waist size; don't worry, I won't tell anyone!
Does anyone know of any other sources for Cargo Skirts? Summer is coming and I would like find something like the one shown.
Thanks,

Eddie Bauer has some cargo skorts currently on sale and generally have larger sizes available. You could also look at the Sierra Trading Post website, but they tend to overestimate sizes by their size charts so order up.
