Congratulations to all of you!

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

I am very glad to see that there is such a section for men like me who definately do not wish to be something else but exercise fashion freedom and equality to the optimum level.I wish to congratulate all people here that make me feel one of them, understood and a normal guy!I feel like home in here!
There is nothing worse than double standard!

Welcome home then, SkirtedViking! Being a normal guy shouldn't mean having tastes limited by what others are afraid to wear. :)

Clothing has been so driven by gender for well over a century, meaning, only men can wear this while only women can wear that. But the inequity between the genders is monstrous. Women can wear anything, including jeans and combat boots and not raise so much as an eyebrow from society, but if a man ventures out in a skirt, Katie bar the door! That's just not fair. I'm glad boards like this exist where men who wish to exhibit fashion freedom can make their voices heard. I'm glad to be onboard!

So that's why women aren't wearing them as much anymore. 8)

In case you have forgotten this important message.
The message still holding true.

Congratulations to all of you. For thinking outside of the box.
