Not bad. Looks a bit like the one Nick Beggs wears when playing with Kim Wilde.

Nice piece of kit! I've a lot of weight to lose before I could 'fit' into that one, unfortunately. I don't think I could manage it before my next visit to the Austrian Goth paradise of Linz - shame, it'd go down really well, there!

Too much money! I'd want real leather for that price - as it is second hand!

With the postage that is £46 - starting price. So it will probably sell for between £50 and £60 if a couple of people bid. That's too much. I've just had an email today from UnionKilts to remind me that I can get a 10% discount there on any purchase before July - so I'd rather spend my money there and get a new kilt.

But at 17" long they may be a tad too short for many...

Have fun,

Ian.

A tad short is putting it mildly. At 17" it would be 6-7 inches shorter
than the standard drop of 24" of most kilts resting just below the knee.
The kilt is offered apparently in one size fitting 32-38" with two buckle
straps on the right low waist. At the low end 32" and the upper end 38"
I do not think the kilt will look right. NO rear view of the pleats is shown
so you are guessing how many and the depth. The seller has sold these
from $60+ up to the By It Now price of 99.99. At $60.00 a fair value for
the item - at $100 go somewhere else. If your (low) waist is right in the
middle 34-36" the kilt should fit OK without tailoring modifications. Kilts
are for men but this one would look great on the female form at a night
clubbing event IMO!
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

I can't take seriously any kilt that is less than £100 (US$200); it just will not have the build quality that I expect and will thus (to me) be a waste of money. A leather kilt is going to be north of £500+ (US$1,000) to be a proper leather kilt. I believe that the imitation leather 21st Century kilt is about £250 so that puts things in perspective.
