The other day in our local CVS drug store as I walked up to the checkout dressed in my Black Denim Utilikilt, Maroon tee shirt, and hiking boots. The 20 something bubbly blond female clerk looked at me and said. " Do you always dress that way?" I said "no only when I'm in the mood." She then replied "You look really good in that kilt." (Keep in mine I am 59 slightly over weight and balding.) I said thank you. She then said "This is the first time I have ever seen a man in a kilt. It Isn't anywhere near as shocking as I imagined it would be. and it looks really good." At this point I handed her a Utilikilts business card and explained a little about kilts to her. She said again that she thought it was really neat. I then payed for my purchase and left. I did think the comment "It isn't anywhere near as shocking as I imagined it would be," was quite interesting.

Oddly, he's right. I find kilt/skirt wearing to be highly addictive, it gives me a feeling of wellbeing and I'm alway happier when out of trousers. What's more, you only have to buy the 'drug' once and can take it over and over again :) with no negative side effects.

If I want to dress like a woman, I'll wear jeans.

Even forty-odd years of 'occasional' skirting can be insufficient to circumvent that problem! Strange that medical records in countries where 'male skirts' predominate show comparitively few problems in 'that department'. Or so my GP/urologist seem agreed on!
