Nightwear/House dress?

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

First, no dresses for me, I'll stick strictly to skirts. Second, a bathrobe already satisfies any desire I have to wear a dress. And they already make men's bathrobes, so I'm sticking with that!

I have an old-fashioned man's nightshirt (dark blue with pinstripes) that my wife bought me. It's nice, but I tend not to wear it, simply because my upper half gets too hot.
