If you're new to the Cafe, please grab a seat by the potted palm, settle down with a nice big latte, and tell us a little bit about yourself. Please also look here for forum principles and rules.

Hola TC;

Welcome. Spend some time on the site & you will find we are mostly male, on varying degrees of any gender scale, but all by our own definitions & none, or few that think that matters much.

I'm glad you can enjoy the choice to wear a skirt when it pleases you, and hope you may find there is no need to be restricted to your house, or to any given length -- lots of doors to open and options out there! It is easy to feel alone, but there are thousands of us, many who have made the move from 'hiding' to being open with our choices.

Tell us more, ask questions, add comments -- it is all welcome.

Hi tomc

Welcome to the cafe. I and a man who wears skirts on a daily basis for my work and leisure time. I have no problem doing this where I live here in the UK. There are many pictures of me here on the cafe in various public places.

As for skirt lengths, I am with you with the short skirts, when the sun is out.

If you post a few more times, you will get a blue coloured username and access to all of the cafe.

Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

Hi Tom, you will find many different tastes and lifestyles here.
I don't know where in the world you are based but if you are in the UK you would be very welcome at the next meetup, shorts, trousers, skirts are all welcome.

Welcome aboard Tom. I hope you gain more confidence in wearing whatever you want to wear while out and about in the community.
A mem of this forum has written and release a song title "A man in a skirt", that you use in building your own confidence and share it with others.

I can be found working in front of home wearing dresses and skirts doing yard work, also out and about in my community wearing dresses and skirts.
Again welcome aboard.

Hi, Tom,
welcome in SkirtCafe!
My coming out (...of the house in skirt) consisted in beginning with wearing kilt-like skirt ( https://www.kiltzahalka.cz/kilt-po-cesk ... na-kostka/ ), because kilts are considered men's clothing. And when our town became accustomed to this, I began wear also another skirts. And the town had to become accustomed too :-) .
Everyone should be honest and prudent: to keep promises and, on principle, never to promise anything to anyone.
Sorry for my English. I try not to make spelling mistakes, but for this reason my writing is very slow.

Welcome, Tom.

It's no problem to be and remain masculine in a short skirt. But some skirts are better than others.

There ARE viable alternatives to trousers.

Hi Tom
:welcome:
I think almost everyone on here started off by wearing a skirt around the house so you're in good company.
As for skirt lengths well that's part of the fun as there is so many options to choose from and is all an individual personal preference.
Please feel free to join into any of the conversations.
