Men in skirts dot org

Post by Barleymower »

I found this website:
https://men-in-skirts.org/aboutmis.html
I looks like a small home made page by somebody promoting the idea of (non-crossing) Men In Skirts. Same as the cafe but seems to be a chap working on his own.
I have tried to send message but it was denied? Maybe he / she will pop up here.

SkirtCafe forum member, GerdG, reported in a post in September 2020, under Functioning, but, that men dash in dash skirts dot org seemed to be "Never finished, it seems", in his tests of whether "The Men In Skirts Links:" were still active.

"The Men In Skirts Links:" thread was started by Milfmog in October 2015.

I did a quick dig via Google, and what is there appears to be fairly old and possibly centred on Australia.

That's strange because I only posted it when I filtered by search results newer than 1 month. Just goes to show that the google filter options are bogus.

Thanks for the info though, some interesting links.

I also did a WHOIS search of the domain on GoDaddy.
https://uk.godaddy.com/whois/results.as ... skirts.org

The domain was registered in February 2005.
The domain was updated this month and expires in February 2027.

As trainspotter48 noted, the registrant is in Australia.

Maybe the updating of the domain this month triggered things off in Google search?

I've seen that site a long time ago.
Judging by the HTML look to the site I'll bet its 20 years old.

Went and looked up the registration.
It is indeed an Australian site.
Strange that they are updating the registration but not the site itself.

The HTML is old, some of it is now deprecated. The Web Editor used is now upto version 9.0 from the version 4.0 used to create it.

I wonder who the person is, whether they are still with us or whether they need a hand with it.

Most odd.
Perhaps after all too much thinking doesn't pay...
