Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

The Cybertruck's driver, Clifford, says that he was tired of driving so switched on the Full Self Driving Mode.
If it was me, I think that I would have pulled into a rest stop instead, if one was available.
I'm pleased to see that the car following Clifford, pulled over to see if he was alright (2min 20sec into the video).
I'm so surprised every time someone says the self driving works. My tesla can't even hold the speed limit correctly, I'd be better off with an old fashioned cruise control that just keeps speed. It's even less capable of staying within the lines on autopilot. No way am I trusting a self driving unless the car is equipped with radar/lidar to sense it's surroundings, the cameras are absolute trash.
I frequently work night shifts and have an hour's drive home from work. If I need to rest my eyes, I pull over. I spot wild animals and other hazards way farther of than the car does even when I'm tired.
Now my old car, the Ioniq, had good lane departure warnings that worked and the lane keep assist worked well and the radar was good at spotting stuff that was hard to see. Teslas reliance on cameras alone is a huge pitfall, especially in low light situations or when the sun is low on the horizon(half the year at my latitude)

I was quite surprised too, when Tesla went to cameras only as their sensors for self driving. On a foggy grey morning, where everything is shades of grey, I always thought that when self driving came along, seeing through fog would be sorted with clever sensors. I know processing the images together from different sensor types is tricky and why Tesla said they were only going to use vision sensors in the future, but it seems a shame and puts me off self driving.
Self-driving mode in a tank? No thanks!
If anyone hasn't seen it the Mark Rober video mentioned is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQJL3htsDyQ and compares a Lidar equipped car with a Tesla's cameras.
