Anything knee length to maxi depending on the weather and practicality at the time. My 'go to' skirt is a 28" denim midi which I wear with a slip and ankle socks in summer or a fluffy petticoat and above knee socks in winter.

In hot weather, 11" to 15" is best for me. (Of course, in more casual settings, 0" is better.) When it's cold, I prefer long skirts, but not so long that I step on them.

Anywhere just above the knee up to where my fingertips are when my arms are at my sides is my preferred length. I'll go a bit shorter in winter with leggings though. Longer skirts just don't feel as masculine to me when I try one on in the mirror.

Another unanswerable question -- so I'll skirt the question.... "Favorite" is a horrible word -- it implies exclusivity. My skirts run from short enough one must have undergarments, and even those may still show; to floor dragging; with the preponderance somewhere between mid thigh and mid-calf -- but none are favorites solely on length. So many factors enter my 'choice' of the day, event, time, weather, mood, availability.... I suppose there are skirts that are "universal" in that they can be worn almost anywhere, anytime -- the "cop-out skirt"; mostly the skirt version of the uninspired, dull, non-noticeable pair of blue-jeans; but though that may be 'easy' is about the furthest cry from preferred or favorite a man seeking to escape the regimented conformity of pants would aspire to. Thus, I guess the answer is the length of the one that has met all of the criteria noted above and more!

At 6'2"(1.88m) I have a number of kilts at 25" length, a couple of modified Macabi skirts at 27" and some Regular/Long Macabis at 36/39". All are worn from time to time.

For me, too short is impractical;it makes sitting uncomfortable. Most of my dresses are from just below the knee to mid calf, although I have longer and shorter ones.

My skirts, on the other hand, tend to be just above or on the knee. It’s probably because I wear skirts in different situations than I do with dresses.

I wear my skirts low waist (where my jeans and shorts ride). For me, I tend to wear skirts no longer than 14-15” with the majority of them being 12” micro kilts/ mini skirts.

I have skirts at everything between fairly short denim minis down to floor length, and I really couldn't say I had a favourite length. It depends on how I feel, and what the temperature is!
