Hello from Switzerland

Post by Alexdr »

Hello everyone

I'm Alex, an heterosexual single 32 years old man who live in Geneva, Switzerland. I have a great passion to skirts and dresses and I wear them everyday. I love them so much. I have the project to be a model, photomodel and influencer in dresses to make the world of fashion change, bothers ther social norms and participate to build the future men's fashion freedom. Just like women struggle and fought their way to freedom of wearing pants, I do the same with men and skirts. Because i have the rights and freedom to wear what I love.
My preference are long skirts and dresses, with light and fluid fabrics. I love to wear evening dresses too. Men don't have to be stuck with tuxedoes when women can wear what they want. I'm not affraid,..better, I'm proud to wear my beautiful loved evening gowns.
I normally speak in french but I can speak in englush too. Since it's bot my first language, sorry for the grammar mistakes I can do
I'm glad to discover a forum full of people who like to share the passion of wearing skirts as a man and I'm here to talk and share my experience of wearing skirts daily with others.
I also have an Instagram profile where I show my passion to dresses and show my big wardrobe and where I wear my outfits. I've already a hundred of posts you can see and read https://www.instagram.com/alex.dressz?i ... BmZDJ4ZQ==

Welcome to Skirtcafe :!:

I have never attended an event where I was required to wear a Tuxedo. If I were to attend-wearing a Tuxedo-I would likely envy the ladies in their elegant dresses.

@Grok I hate tuxedoes and shirts in general and I'm bold enough to wear those elegant dress women wear, it must be no longer their privilege, and it's also the garment I prefer the most, whatever can be said to me. When I'll marry, I'll wear the most beautiful bridal gown I can afford.

Welcome aboard. It sounds as if you will have a great deal to share. The synergy of guys coming from different perspectives and places all helps. Not too many here have ventured as far as you have, so your journey should be helpful and instructive.

Personally, I got into skirts for comfort, not fashion, and though the move to skirts for any reason does seem to generate a bit more awareness of fashion, colors, patterns, and accessories -- I have "settled" for the simplicity of skirts even though there is some appeal to consider dresses, (a one garment outfit). It seems to be too much of a hassle to find and acquire dresses too. (My closet is overflowing anyway!) I will happily watch your posts and 'insights, but probably still in a skirt! Cheers from Costa Rica -- where we basterdise the Spanish "Pura Vida" to cover most things -- may your's be so too.
