Storm Darragh

Post by Cram »

So today's forecast was a storm plenty of wind and rain so early this morning i put on one of my favourite skirts for this weather (red faux leather skirt) and my raincoat and went out. From the moment I went out the wind was blowing and my skirt was flapping about all over the place, when I was walking with the wind in front of me it looked like i was wearing trousers but with the wind behind me it was bellowing out in front of me and flapping about nicely and when going up or down steps it would fill up with wind and nearly turn inside out. It's nice to get out in the windy weather as it's a nice feeling to have your skirt flapping around your legs.

Naming storms is just plain daft. I see the point for hurricanes, but most of the UK named storms have been nothing more than a bit of a blow. Giving them a name only encourages them.
