Please accept my most sincere wishes for whatever is vexing you at the moment to simply go away. You're both better than that garbage.

This too shall pass.

The threat of litigation was likely empty bluster, and highly frivolous. BUT, this particular individual likely does have the pull with the park owners to get us evicted, so we're just trying to lay low. An eviction right now would really pull the rug out from under us.

I only weighed in on this because If found myself in agreement with Dust.

Generally, in my experience, while there are certainly some bad apples on the Conservative side of the divide, this is NOT to say that there aren't some pretty nasty characters on the Liberal side too. The ratio of BS I've had to endure over the years seems to be around 50/50.

It seems that from my observation, if a Conservative feels the need to boast about their church membership, while counting their money... WATCH OUT.

On the other hand, if a Liberal is more concerned with virtue signaling rather than actually doing anything... again, WATCH OUT.

Mr. Rogers said "look for the helpers"... I'll add, "look for the helpers that are NOT taking a selfie and bragging about it while they are helping".

Hang in there. When lawyers get involved, it's rare for anyone other than the lawyers to win. Fortunately, it sounds like you don't have much worth going after, but unfortunately, that also means you don't have the money to put on much of a defense. Hopefully this all fizzles out without anyone stepping foot in a courtroom.

Bragging about church membership is also virtue signaling, it's just meant for a different audience. Same with the selfie takers.

As usual, it's the 1% that screws it for the 99%. There's no news in: today everything was quiet and people treated each other like human beings.

The news is *not* representative of the real world (neither are Twitter/Facebook/Instragram/etc for that matter).
I actually saw a news article years ago about a day going by in New York City without a shooting. It was the first time is several years. It was not a major headline, which I suppose makes your point.

The news is always looking for eye catching stories. Slow news days are the reason for the infamous "Florida man” that has become a cliche. Apparently there is a law in Florida that lets news outlets get police reports with all the names and identifying info removed, and a whole state looks crazy as a result.

Sounds like it'll eventually blow over so patience would be your ally till things change. From listening to my in-laws complaining, trailer parks always seem to have someone looking for trouble.(Of course my in-laws have the temperament of the Klingons from the first few Star Trek movies).
