Purses are very handy in keeping coins from slipping out of pockets when seated or lost in the bottom of a shoulder bag. Percy as we called "him?" belonged to my partner Heather. The lady at the local shop offered me a larger one but when I explained the sentimental attachment she understood.

While I keep some coins in the car in case I encounter a parking machine that doesn’t use an app I never carry any and so don’t need a purse.

I used to carry large amounts of coinage with me all the time. As it used to be that vending machines did not take bills or credit cards as well as did not give you change back. Since I am no-longer having to use the vending machines to get my lunch I no longer carry coinage on my person. I do occasionally get a few coins but end up placing them in a can in my bathroom (loo to those who need the translation) :lol: ......

Some day I will roll them up and take them to the bank.... Someday.... :roll:
