Damn. Another master passes.
Sadly, the world lost Maestro Seiji Ozawa on 2024-02-06. Beloved in the Boston, MA/USA area for decades as the Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and whom I have seen perform with said orchestra more times than I should have been privileged for, was a force to be reckoned with. And now his baton and style are still. He shall be remembered fondly in the hearts of all music-lovers who were touched by his craft.
Go in peace, Seiji; may the voices of heaven now be conduced by you.

A sad day indeed! I have seen him on the TV when the Boston Symphony Orchestra played on ETV for some event now forgotten.
May he lead the band of angles in heaven! RIP Sir!
