would you wear those skirts ?

Post by hommeurbain »

Hi guys
Here are photos of skirts presented during spring summer men's fashion week, mainly in Paris, and also in London

What do you think ? Which are your favorites ?

Sorry none and all of those skirts !
Certainly not my forte - primary emphasis on being short mini athletic kilt like with pleats !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

"Charles Jeffrey Loverboy" is the best ones that I see from all of these, but without all the stain. I would have no problem wearing a skirt like this. Eventually I would prefer it a bit longer in front and longer in back (I don't like seating when my skin directly touches the seat). Maybe the "Undercover" could work but it is not well displayed in that picture. As for the rest, m'eh, not my taste

I love Valentino's, Homme Plissé Issey Miyake and Songzio, espacially the grey ones.

I would wear this if I could find it at a decent price.

That is one of the most unflattering photographs I've ever seen. The lighting is terrible and the clothes hang of the model's cadaverous body like a sack. It's certainly not my cup of tea.

There is not one I would buy if it turned up on Bay for $10, so no I would not wear any. Even the "Loverboy" pleated mini does not appeal as much as some skirts I already have. The white mini skirt suit I might be tempted if it was teal or beige.

Wow, most of these pictures/poses are terrible!

I do see some merit in a few designs though, I would prefer all of them in another colour/print. The half pleated Marine Sierre with print(Could come in so many cool prints) and 1989 studio look comfortable, I would wear them as they are.
Undercover and Courrège are pretty basic designs, black one is okay but I don't like white(My work uniform is white so I get enough of it there), blue or dark green would look good I think, for both of them, maybe even some tan/desert colour.
