Re: Memories?
One of the very few Christmas pieces I can tolerate gracefully. Thanks, Al!

Re: Memories?
That's one of the few Christmas songs that I don't get bored hearing amongst the noise of today's radio...trouble is, very few if any radio stations actually play the song these days. I have memories of hearing this one back in the mid 1980s and it's stuck with me...

Re: Memories?
One of my favourites is Greg Lake's, I believe in Father Christmas and that's another one I never tire of. It's also how the Russians got into modern Christmas thanks to ELP's classical bent. Another is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's version of The Carol of the Bells. Heavy Metal Heaven!
And I swear, the next time I hear some random crooner going on about "the most wonderful time of the year" I might well "go postal". It's not wonderful. It's cold. It's dark. And it's generally a miserable part of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. (Folks in the Antipodes have it better in December. It's the beginning of summer there (which also, sadly, can mean "fire season").)
