A little expensive for me, but that's a pretty cool overkilt!

I admit it is cool.
But as with most "kilt" merchandise it comes with a hefty price.

I have this skirtall I bought on ebay for 30 dollars at a fraction of the cost of the kilt. CJ Banks has some nice stuff. It's one of the brands I routinely search for when secondhanding.

I have two of these and can tell you they are not for an kind of warm weather. They are well made, but very heavy. One weighs over 20 pounds.

I have a couple of kilts and don't wear them for that same reason. They were my introduction to skirts worn publicly but I have pretty much retired them.

I keep wavering as to buy one to try out. The big just looks to plain and maybe out of place.

I have a couple of skirtalls with pockets. Still have to wear a shirt but there is no need for a belt. sort of a compromise between a skirt and a dress.
