of 100°F or more. My yard suffered but I stayed indoors, with the A/C
and didn't water much of anything outside. The heat evaporated the
water before it could soak into the soil.
Currently, the OAT(Outside Air Temperature) is 72°F at 4:15PM(16:15) CST.
Temp got down to 37°F several nights ago. Yes, this is Texas weather

Here in northern Illinois, the weather is all over the place. In the 30s in the morning so I wore a long skirt. In the garden in the sun in the afternoon it was near 70°F and warm so I had my shirt off and girded up my loins.

Yep, in a suburb of Chicago this week and same - today was nice. Sadly, no skirt as I’m visiting family.
Re: Weather in your location ?
Here in Denver, I can say for sure that there is a general sustained warming trend going on. The causes and possible solutions may be arguable. What do I mean maybe they are being vehemently contested. We humans think we can and should work out everything to our comfort and benefit and as one who fully enjoys all those comforts and benefits I am not suggesting that there is any blame to be placed, but the polarization that has lead to stalemates is going to hurt everybody in the long run.

Re: Weather in your location ?
It's been raining on and off for weeks now (Netherlands). Last month ~190mm, this month already ~130mm. Looks like we're going to end the year with 35% more rain than usual (~880mm -> ~1180mm per annum). It's not clear we'll beat the 1998 record though. It's good after all these super dry years, but it's the first time I've seen all the water management systems so stressed. The local lake is 20-30cm above its usual level. Everywhere where water can be stored is filling up.
Fortunately the sea level is not too high, so it just takes time to empty.

That description could apply the our weather systems the entire year round. People who come here do so not for fine weather, that's for sure, but if they get a few days fine, that's a bonus and when all the attractive photos are taken.
With an average temp. of about 10 deg. Centipede (48 F) Summer highs and Winter lows are only 12-15 deg. C. either side of that figure.
Oh, and yes, the damp.....There are some old people here still alive (including myself) who remember it to have rained here.

Re: Weather in your location ?
Beautiful Fall day here at the beach in Delaware - 49 overnight with 65 and sunny this afternoon. I just walked down to the mailbox while wearing a black GotKilt utility kilt with black leggings and a polo shirt - a near perfect outfit for today. I will likely wear the same when the wife and I go out for dinner this evening.

Relatively balmy here in the Piedmont Carolinas, with highs in the 70's (F). Unfortunately, we've had very little rain here for the last two or three months, so we're officially classified as being in severe drought.
Supposed to get some rain next week. Hope we actually get it

Re: Weather in your location ?
Well summer is now making it's presence felt at 45C and windy for the past 5 days. It is 11pm and temp has dropped to 36C and I am sitting up in bed wearing a wet Bonds tank top under a ceiling fan.
Just wearing a T shirt and mini skirt each day.
