This New Yorker is glad to find this group!
Hello, Skirtcafe! JC here, a joyful inventor who enjoys a wide range of clothing styles, including many sorts of skirts. The range of color, texture, length, and cut so pleases me that the dull range of pants pales away. I enjoy acceptance and approval from family and friends and even strangers for dressing well in a non-ordinary way. I am here to share that joy and hope to find even more from others here, too.

Welcome to the best place to be skirted. We are welcoming to all who follow the idea that clothing should be comfortable and not assigned a gender, and should be worn by all.
All clothes for all people!

Welcome, JCNY.
You're in the right place where you are. I dare say, One could walk the length & breadth of the Big Apple dressed as a Turkish belly dancer and no-one would take a blind bit of notice.

Welcome JC from Australia. I am intrigued by your avatar and your description "a joyful inventor".

I am serious though - I never really thought about the "inventor" part - would be interested if that's a literal representation of hobbies or such.
