Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
It’s true that customers are increasingly shopping cross-categories and that there’s been a rise in genderless fashion, but it is also true that menswear is a booming business, in some cases growing faster than women’s.
If you access the link directly, it should show a variety of fashions including skirts:

I might argue with the notion of “ready to wear” but these articles seem ever so positive that slowly but surely things are changing.
One question, how do you constantly find these? You’re like a diving rod for men in skirts articles.
LOL - I just use Google news search, sometimes Duck Duck Go. I’ll also dig into comments sections and sometimes people will mention something googleable. I only get about 6 hours of sleep and am online every waking moment. Trying to cut back but my job tends to draw me online because, well, I’m online most of the time. Also, not many post news stories here and I figured it’s an easy thing to do to generate discussions - sometimes the topics get rehashed (only so much you can talk about) and news stories bring in different perspectives and ideas.
I posted these in the couture forum because these styles are a bit out there.
I love that you do it. It really shows just how many people are both writing/talking about men wearing skirts and how many possible readers there could be. And as the saying goes, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.
