Re: Fear
Precisely.
Fear is an important response mechanism, but we cannot allow it to dominate us else we become less than human. It certainly has its place, but its place is overestimated in the modern realm. Realistically, most of us in the "developed world" have little to fear on a day-to-day basis.
Worry is something else, but needs to be tempered with realism. Worry about the things we can change, first and foremost, because in that we can make a difference. For things we cannot change? We might as well let it slide.
