Balloon pants
Balloon pants
Nothing to do with skirts but I saw this article in a newspaper and couldn't help but share the ridiculousness of it with you.

I thought that I'd seen everything but they remind me of an incontinent man with full bags on each leg!

I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

Looks like a variation on the 'Sauna Jeans' that were sold as a weight loss aid!!

Umpa-Loompa's from Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory come to mind
Can't even use them for a flotation devise on a boat/ship
Thank goodness the creator has no intention of ever selling these "pants"

Funny, I opened this thread after reading this post:
It all makes sense nowDutchRobert wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 6:42 am In the Netherlands swimming lessons are quite common. Almost every kid is learned how to swim. The main reason: to prevend drowning (we have many cans here in this country). The first tests are based on the fact "how to save yourself when you fall into the water". Getting used to swim with your clothes on is a part of is.

Those pants are inflatable. Did anyone tried inflating them with helium? You might be able to walk on your hands without much effort.

Re: Balloon pants
He would've done much better to have cut the bottom part of those parachute pants off and turned them into a full skirt. Actually did that once with a pair of palazzo pants that I originally thought were a skirt when I bought them at a thrift store. Removed the legs and cut the crotch part out. Wound up with a very full, above-knee, black skirt.
