Best Hiking Skirts
For Female and Male
Hikers
Never let it be said that Hiking For Her excludes males from the realm of hiking skirts.
There are some mighty attractive male hikers sporting skirts on the trail, and looking cool and comfortable in their hairy bare legs.
So if your male trail companion(s) zing you with "not fair!", surprise them with this: an Elkommando kilt from Mountain Hardware.

Although I prefer the "womens" style to the one in the link, but hey....

I have two of the Elkommando kilts from Mountain Hardwear.
(one XL, one L: need to keep a consistent weight!)
Unfortunately, it is not a regular stocked item.

I also hike in converted skorts (liner removed).
Also in the really light weight "Running Kilt" (which is really a skirt).

Most of the comments I get on the trail are from women.
Not sure how many looks I get behind my back. Need a rear facing camera to record reactions.

On occasion I have started a hike in the Elkommando kilt, and when it was too warm, switched to the shorter converted skort.
One of the advantages of hiking in skirts, you don't need to take your boots off to change!
