So yee be wearing a dress are yee ?

And about how to carry something (anything)
well if your dress doesn't have pockets - likely
and if it doesn't have a kangaroo pouch - unlikely
You are going to have to resort to a man-bag
of sorts - a clutch - shoulder bag - purse -
going to hell in a hand bag - something on that
order unless you like to juggle all the odds and
ends that yee man person carries.
If your dress has pleats a sporran would be in
order - I am sure you will think of something !

And about dem parents - what is there to be
worried about here - my son is one of those
exceptional people really !
So what is the problem -
Maybe you lost a bet ?
You are doing this on dare ?
It is your initiation ceremony to membership
here at SkirtCafe ? LOL !
You should try it - you might like it ?
Sorry I was out late last night and didn't have
anything suitable (dressable) to wear when
you arrived ?
You are a solution looking for a problem and
now you want to upload to YouTube - WOW !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Search Etsy for “leather hip bag”. These things are available in every price range, the inexpensive ones are imported from India or China, the more premium priced ones appear to be made by the sellers. Depending on the character and style a canvas variant might be a better choice, tend to be cheaper, and come in a variety of colors.

I'ld try to find something that goes WITH the outfit as a complimentary item
instead of just a plain ol' bag.

Just my $.02 worth ;)

Doesn't everyone carry a backpack these days? I just bought an Osprey Talon 11, an eleven litre day pack, for short hikes and birding. It holds just enough without the ability to load it for an expedition. I work in a very upscale and international environment and most people carry backpacks to work. Probably a hold over from university days. They go with any style but extreme formal. Gender neutral as well.

Edit: We also see a fair amount of messenger bags if backpacks seem too outdoorsy to you.

You don't get to judge me by your standards. I have to judge me by mine.

But this leaves me with a couple questions. How am I meant to carry anything? And my parents are going to find out eventually anyway, if I don't tell them it'll be when it comes in the post or when I upload it to YouTube, I don't really know if I should tell them because I know they'll laugh it off if they find out after it's happened but I have no idea how they'll react if I tell them in advance.
Get a couple of jeans skirts too for a casual look on ebay. Knee length pencil skirts look like shorts to most people. You will need more than one outfit for a week

I think you should have a simple handbag. I say this because you are choosing a dress and a small handbag will look nice with a dress. Get a simple design because they are very versatile and you can carry a handbag with any outfit provide it matches. So go for dark colours or neutrals in your handbag - perhaps even coordinate it with your shoes would be best too!

cheers

A basic black crossbody bag should be the universal application here.
Object having something of volume for your man things - yet keeping the hands free.
Basic black should work with most any wardrobe.
