With me I go for comfort. As for look, That takes back stage for me, I tend to mostly wear black, My main kilts I wear are black,
Most of my skirts are black, That one and red long one. Other wise black it is.
If I don't feel comfortable wearing something I don't bother with it,
I don't wear stuff to stand out, I wear for most simple thing i'm comfortable.

That's usually my attitude also, which is why I like it that more guys are wearing skirts; it makes them stand out less.

If people were to step back and just look at kilts and skirts from a comfort level not men woman whatever.
Simple skirt is more comfortable for movement better in hot temps.
A lot of people wearing compression tights to help with leg probs. Jeans are to hot with them so you see a lot of men wearing shorts with tights,
You also see more and more men switching to kilts, Sport skirts for running has been slowly catching on.

We are making progress -but- not at the rate of escaping global warming - fires burning in the Amazon - glacial ice melting in Greenland -
ocean levels rising and ignorance of all this -but- let a man wear a skirt/unbifurcated garment now that is s-l-o-w !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Unforetunately, most Western males have never worn a skirt like garment. So they don't know what they are missing.

I wear my shortest skirt a lot, Its more a lounge skirt to me so wear it a lot around the house,
If I need to go get gas or go to bank at night I wear it or my black one,
As weather gets colder I have 3 long skirts that I wear.
I find i'm wearing skirts more then my kilts, I just find the skirts more comfortable.

Yes with skirts one is not carrying all that apron and pleated weight around -
the fabric weight can be down to sheer nothing
talk about lightening one's load

Caution - at some point one maybe wearing the Emperors new wardrobe ! LOL !

Stop right there - the censor's are waiting in the wings to take me away !

I notice that there is no question mark after "how short you can go in skirts", so I assume it is definitive.

I can tilt my head down without the hem lifting too much :) Not too bad sitting as the pleats have enough drape. I wore it all day around home and it was extremely comfortable.
