Re: State borders
Very very interesting - even the oddity of only one state having a curved (arc - 12 mile circle) border - Delaware.
And the states gerrymandering their borders with adjacent states.
Only distraction - I wish the narrator would have slowed down long enough to digest the dialog presented.

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Re: State borders
I like this kind of information. It tickles my history bone. Next time, the speaker should wait until his drugs wore off before narrating a video. I ordered the book so I can absorb the information on my own speed which is much much slower.
Years ago I found something similar on the Internet about the forming of the states of Europe, from the early Middle Ages up to the present. It is a pity I lost all info about it.

Re: State borders
There is a YouTube animation of the evolution of the European states but it is without any explanation. But interesting nevertheless.

There are add-on YouTube enhancers. You can choose to run things faster or slower. I often run hymns at 1.5x. I ran this presentation at 0.8x.beachlion wrote:I like this kind of information.
