JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
Re: JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
Oldsalt, your image illustrates why shirt-dress designs (in-general) are promising.

Re: JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
As Grok implied, what you have there OS1 is a classic shirtdress done to a T! The hem is cut to match the hem on a man's shirt just a goodly distance closer to the ground. Don't give up on your dress, it's a comfortable classic. Especially for those days when you're looking for a dress to wear in public that doesn't scream, "Hey! Look at me! I'm wearing a woman's dress!"
Of course, the point would be entirely lost if you borrowed NZ's shoes!

Re: JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
NZ, those aren’t heels; they’re nosebleed inducing stilts.
Or as a crossdressing friend of mine would say, “Only good for walking on ceilings.”
Though clearly, you seem to manage walking on more down to earth surfaces in them.
More power to you!

Re: JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
Hi pdx,
I love heels. I do everything in high heels - literally everything - except I don't go for a run or mow the lawn in heels. Oh and I do wear lower heels at home.
I am well known for tall heels - and I feel like its important to keep my reputation there. Sounds silly I suppose but I am comfortable in heels, and I like them. I prefer heels with my skirts - but I do sometimes wear lower heels out.
Heels take years of wearing to get comfortable with but thereafter they are no issue, no matter how high or skinny handling them is easy-ish - or at least its natural and I can do it without thinking about it.
Aesthetically I like the leg lengthening and small ankles effects of a high heel shoe.

Hello NZ,
I agree with you 100% that heels are the go-to when wearing a skirt or dress. You don’t have to take my word for it; check out the pictures I’ve posted.
I just know my limits so anything taller is both incomprehensible and impressive.
In the interest of good Cafe relations, focus on the “impressive.”

Re: JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
I think its the theory of relativity
wear a skirt all the time and it becomes normal, nothing special. Relatively speaking its no big deal anymore.
same with higher heels. Wear them enough and being up high becomes flat.(oh except when you don't have them by crikey do I feel like a short-ass !)

OS I really like it. I have one with wide shoulder straps the looks almost like the same pattern.

Re: JUST A SIMPLE DRESS
Dress's is something my wife has sided with, As in something to pull on to sleep in or after show as easy . lazy thing to wear,
She gave me a more of sports style short dress to sleep in, As some thing to wear around the house its ok.
But out rather skirt and hoody or shirt, But I have worn the dress out with Hoddie and then it just looks like a skirt,
Plus I need to lose weight, Its been up and down thing with weight and injury's
I'm 300Lb right now I was 335. goal is 200 If I hit 200Lb I wear dress out with all fixings for her to vid
heath wise i'm already feeling better. Just need to keep at it,
