Cat call ??
This afternoon I walked to the pharmacy to get medicine for my wife's daughter. When I walked back I heard a sort of cat call, pfeeee pfeee. A few seconds again. I looked around and saw no one in the direction of the sound. It sounded like it was coming from a little higher than street level. But there was nobody at second floor balconies or roof tops. With the third cat call I found the culprit. High up in a tree were two birds and one of the birds made the sound.
Now I have another problem. Can you call a cat call from a bird still a cat call ?

You are just going to have to quit rocking your skirts so handsomely. Even the animals are taking note.

Re: Cat call ??
Maybe it was a wolf whistle; the etymology of a cat call was that of disapproval. Anyway a bird wouldn't know the difference
