Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
If you're new to the Cafe, please grab a seat by the potted palm, settle down with a nice big latte, and tell us a little bit about yourself. Please also look here for forum principles and rules.
I'm also from Brisbane (Morningside), good to know there's a few more of us out here.
I have seen a few men out there in kilts and skirts before, but not many.
Would be good if you can find a skirt or kilt in your size, and get out there.
Thanks. I'm in Paddington.
As for finding a skirt or kilt, I'm looking into Oz Kilts. If it weren't for my recent weight loss, they wouldn't be an option since their largest standard waist size is currently the same as my cargo pants.

I wouldn't lay any money on that if I were you. I generally don't go out of my way to meet new people since I'm braver behind a keyboard than face to face.
