In fact, it seems I can't find a skirt that doesn't magnetize itself to a pair of leg coverings. The thigh high socks seem to work better... and make it easier to function when nature calls.
Perhaps I can give them a go with the hoop petti. That rig keeps the skirt off the legs under all but the widest of strides.
Alternatively, a lined skirt or dress. The purpose of a slip is not just for see through clothing - the extra layer sort of blocks the transparency of the outer garment, it’s to make the skirt or dress hang better, move better, especially with stockings. also a slip helps prevent static cling. they still sell them in stores so that’s a clue that some people do wear them. http://www.rookiemag.com/2012/01/litera ... ver-slips/
