I have a sweater with a turtle neck almost that full. Whenever I wear it to work the CFO calls me Captain Ahab for some reason. I've read Moby Dick and don't get the reference. CFO is from England, maybe that explains it.

Now I'm going to defend john here and agree with Carl. The roll neck sweater is fine and since we get some really cold weather here, although certainly not as much of the white stuff as Carl gets, I must admit that I have a couple myself. When the biting wind is enough to freeze the n_ts off then keeping the top have warm is just as important and to h_ll with fashion. Keep on trucking John and take no notice.

great look one question how much practice to walk in the heels I have a pair with 2 inch and it is a struggle

If you get the right shoe, it's not hard at all. These have a 4" heel, but a 1.5" platform, so not too bad. They feel stable to walk in. I've had some 4" heels that I can't walk more than ten feet. Best advice I can give is concentrate on shoulders back, look forward, not down at your shoes, and you'll walk just fine.

just got my first pair of boots calf high with about a 3 1/2 inch and a 1 inch platform. They look great feel natural and I am slowly learning to walk in them Head back and dont look down

I have a pair of 4" heels that I have no problem walking in, and a 5" pair that I haven't quite got the hang of yet. Also a few pairs of 3" & 2" heels that are a no brainer. No I don't go out in public in the 4" or the 5" ones although it does sound interesting. May do it someday with a pair of ladies slacks that I have that would cover most of them and not draw attention to myself for a first outing.

Hi All,
John62, I'll start with the sweater.
There are no rules, or very little, in my opinion.
In the right climate it would be perfect and totally "cosy". In my book, that makes it beyond much criticism.
For myself, I'd put a shorter skirt with it in a blink. However, that is just me!
DG, I can only reiterate, jealous I am!
