Hi from Austria

Post by ufash »

Hi to everybody!

I am a 49 year old man from Austria (the one in Central Europe :) who loves to wear traditional South and South-East Asian skirts, a.k.a. "Sarongs" or "Lungis".
I wear those skirts mostly at home and on beaches but sometimes also downtown.

For some time now I have been importing Lungis from India and am selling them through Amazon and Ebay.

I am glad I found this forum to communicate with fellow skirt-wearers.

Hello and wilkommen, ufash!

Excellent lungi! I love the bright colour!

How do the people in your town react to your skirts?
Keep on skirting,

I recall a comment that sarongs will be the next garment to be popularized.

On the lake or pool they don't seem to care. I get more glares in shopping centers, even though I would rather wear darker colors there.
No negative feedback so far which doesn't mean everybody would appreciate it.

I hope so. At least in summer time it is a perfect garment in Central Europe too.
