Men's skirts on facebook

Post by couyalair »

As mentioned recently, interest in the facebook group "Men's Skirts" has grown quite suddenly -- and of course with overwhelming approval.
But I can't help feeling that the comments sound like something out of "Frustrated Houswives", while others echo so closely what we here have written, I wonder if some of the women commenting have been invented for the purpose.

"Heidi Bonwell : Oh. My. Word. That. Is. Beautiful.
Bree Stevens : Yes, please!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ :-D lol"

What prompted that? The fine muscular torso, or the black rectangle hiding the man's thighs and knees?
I
Kristin Clark Speltz : Why-o-why can't this be mainstream already?

Annie Knight : How *do* we make this kind of thing mainstream, anyway?

Angie McPherson : More people need to wear them and be comfortable in them.

Kristin Clark Speltz We really do need more self-confident men to buy into it.

Annie Knight : To me, it's not about how it looks; it's about people having the freedom to wear what they want to wear and not be boxed in by close-minded idiots. I agree with Rachel; he'd look good in anything. I just think it's only fair that if women can wear pants, suits... pretty much whatever they want, whenever they want, then men should have the same right to self-expression. :)

Sounds familiar, does it not? but if these kind landies really exist, it's encouraging.

Not trying to denigrate your work, admin (SkirtRevolution, if I remember correctly); keeping skirts in the public eye is what we need.

Well I've added 3 pics of myself in 2 skirts onto my facebook page. Admittedly they are in about 50-60 other commercial modelling pics, but they are there.
We shall see what happens..

edit: That was fast! A Malaysian friend in Australia has liked all 3 skirt pics (plus others) inside 2 minutes of me posting them. :)

I use my real name on FB and tend to keep it fairly private, tbh.
With few exceptions, nearly all my fb friends are real people that I've met and know.
Given how skinny my lower legs are, I'm unlikely to get any fantasizing women, and those women who do are VERY unlikely to get anywhere.

I've had one comment asking "What's with the skirts? haha" To which I replied they were part of a shoot and were very comfortable. He wasn't to know they are my skirts and it was a portfolio shoot I paid for.

I "could" be considered to have the opposite problem straightfairy, I'm 320 pounds and that's down from my usual 380 pounds and my lower legs have lots of spare baggy skin where fat used to be when THIS
