Fashion Predictions

Post by chrisinkilt »

Stumbled upon this yesterday. Look the guys fashion predictions, skirts, tights, pantaloons, a return to the renaissance. http://twentytwowords.com/2012/02/15/th ... d-in-1893/

I like some of them. And some of the predictions aren't that far off.

That's interesting but sometimes I couldn't tell the guys from the gals. Are the guys always the ones smoking? lol I liked some of the costumes, though.

On some of them it was hard to tell the guys from the gals, but look at the side burns for the guys and hourglass figures for the gals and one should be able to tell them apart.

He got that part of the prediction right then, all he needed to do was replace the costumes with jeans and a tshirt and he'd have been spot on...

Have fun,

They looked from a perspective before the turn of the 19th/20th Century and could not have been expected to predict two World wars, vast advances in materials technology, siesmic change in lifestyles and social relationships, and just played around with what amounts to Theatrical costumery.
No wonder they were so wide of the mark as to be almost in Cloud Cuckoo land
