Can anyone identify this MUG?

Post by skirtyscot »

Went to see the Spooky Men's Chorale at the weekend. Highly recommended and they are still on tour in the UK. One member of the choir was sporting a fine MUG - can anyone identify it? It is on show in this vid on You Tube.

If you Google "spooky mens chorale youtube" you will see that the gentleman is a regular wearer of his MUG (and his tricorn hat!)

Maybe I will ask Mrs Skirtyscot to get me one for Christmas. The MUG, that is, not the hat.

Hello SkirtyScot,

If I am not mistaken, that looks like a black Utilikilt.

Take care,

Thanks, Charles.

Probably an easy one for a lot of people, but I'm new to this!

Hello SkirtScot,

An easy one for me, perhaps, because I used to own a couple of Utilikilts. That said, there are a few similar garments from other companies, but this does have all the hallmarks of a classic Utilikilt.

Thank you for the link to the choir. They look quite amusing. I have bookmarked the video for a better viewing later.

Take care,
Charles

Definitely a Utilikilt. Model Workmans, I guess. It looks as if has some extra buttoms, compared to the Original.

There ARE viable alternatives to trousers.
