Resort show

Post by Gusto10 »

While looking at Vogue.co.uk, I noted the Resort shows held recently. The Gucci collection does cross the aile quit a bit.

It's interesting to see that Alessandro Michele considers the choice of clothing also a from of freedom of expression.
As to the collection, it's interesting. One can see history and present mixed and that the garments will hide the gender.

I found one outfit that didn't look too silly for me (ignoring the earings and tattoos).

WOW !

A challenging job for Photo-Shop to do its magic to improve the image !

I definitely like that tunic application - now as for the price of a Gucci original
I am sure one would do better with a Hollywood back-lot wardrobe ensemble
something - Ben Hur - Quo Vadis - etc.

AND as usual the male runway show is all about flash freeze frozen faces nary
a smile on granite - as opposed to the Victoria's Secret women's runway show
all bubbling over with smiles !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Hi
Given the right mindset and budget there is not much in this collection that could not be worn by either gender.
I saw a particular leather skirt that I would wear in a heartbeat. Once I obtained a second mortgage that is.
The other particular ensemble that caught my eye was the anorak and trousers.
Not for me but it struck as being fairly bland and pedestrian. There was also a chalk stripe suit that could be described thus.
I'd bet that the price tags would give a completely different take on them.
As for the tunic, yes but suitably adapted for Scottish weather.
Steve.

I could go for the orange and blue number, but not sure about an extra layer with the trousers.

Weird. I mean the dates on the posts and the web page has changed. Some sort of time warp.
