Re: Modified catalogue items.
Another couple of catalogue items mated.
A "Kathmadu" hiking gear top amalgomated with the skirt from a "Victoria Hill" 'Drapey winter maxi dress'. I made it to look like a separate top and skirt.
Total polyester, so is better with something more natural underneath.
Like the sleeved version of the Silkbody dress which they now have. I shortened the sleeves of that to make it wearable under short sleeved things also.

Re: Modified catalogue items.
Noticed I hadn't included another "Modified Catalogue Item": These Damart dresses, which I consructed from two each, to double the width of the skirt!
I like these days to "flaunt" the man in dresses/skirts look by having big wide skirts to swirl in the wind.
The blue one was originally a lighter blue that I added some black to.
First one was "natural colour" died with black RIT dye.
Notice the side pockets!

Great stuff, Jack. You're a dab hand with the ol' needle. At your age you can flaunt exactly what apparel you like and sod the begrudgers!

Hey Jack, did ya ever thought of sewing in the skirt part of your modified damart dress at the hips and combine it with a dress jacket like at the fashion show?
