Bit expensive but sold on MEN's site

Post by skirtingtoday »

Found this looking for skirts for men. They are a bit pricey for me but they are being sold on the MEN's section of the website. I am also not too sure about some of the styles... Though the ones in the Fall/Winter section look much better.

First Summer 2012:-

Then in the Fall winter 2012/2013 section:-

A bit pricey???? Goodness me, you can say that again.
The cheapest skirt is £222.34 and the most expensive is an eye-watering £1093.09!

I wouldn't pay that sort of money for any garment.

Thinks: I wonder if they've got a decimal point in the wrong position...

Pricing is one way to keep the 'items' out of the mass public's reach.
Now it's up to the Frugal People (Scot's, Irish, etc.) to figure a way of
getting these 'items' into the masses and at a price-point the average
person can afford.

IMO these 'items' are for show - not practical use.

OK - That's my $.02 worth ;)

I notice that quite a few skirts appear under the 'shorts' heading. Just a couple of knee-length clean cut examples would appeal, were it not for the high three & four-figure price tags.
I can't imagine they'll actually sell many.

Yes I was a bit tongue-in-cheek at the "bit expensive" heading!  We can always hope that some well known celebs will buy them (after all they all have more money to spread around and wish to be noticed) and if it then gets into the fashion magazines, so much the better.

Perhaps this could gee-up the main-stream outlets to think that they could have a sellable product - Skirts for MEN!
